Back pain can range from a mild, dull, aching sensation to a sudden, sharp, extremely painful feeling. Thankfully, there are some things you can do to prevent back pain or even improve it if it is already bothering you.

  • Make exercise part of your daily routine. Focus on strengthening your core muscles in order to keep your back strong and free from pain.
  • Maintain proper posture at all times. Be aware of this especially if you are lifting something. Lift by using your leg strength more than your back.
  • Keep your weight in a healthy range. This reduces stress on your spinal joints.

This also makes a likely cause of back pain because the position of the atlas affects the entire spine’s ability to have proper posture. If the atlas is misaligned, the entire spine compensates by twisting and shifting.

We correct this by using a gentle method that does not require us to pop or crack the back or neck. Rather, it naturally encourages the bones to move back into place, leading to a longer-lasting adjustment.
